Terms & Conditions

1. General

 

Welcome to Coventry Parties. By using our website or making a booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

“Studio Megastar”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Studio Megastar Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 06712004), Units 1.7 & 1.8, The Arches Industrial Estate, Coventry, CV1 3JQ.

 

“You” or “the customer” refers to the person making a booking or using our services.

 

2. Bookings and Payments

 

A deposit of £50 is required for standard parties and a deposit of £200 is required for sleepover parties.

 

Deposits are non-refundable, except where we cancel or are unable to provide the service.

 

Final payment for standard parties is due 14 days before the event. Final payment for sleepover parties is due 1 calendar month before the event.

 

Failure to pay within these timeframes may result in cancellation of your booking.

 

3. Guest Numbers and Booking Confirmation

 

Each party package includes a set number of guests, for example 20 guests for standard parties and 10 guests for sleepover parties.

 

Estimated guest numbers must be provided at the time of booking.

 

Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days prior to the event.

 

Once confirmed, the final number of guests will be used for staffing and preparation. Reductions in guest numbers after this point will not result in any refund.

 

4. Additional Guests

 

Additional guests may be accommodated subject to availability and venue capacity.

 

Any guests attending above the included number will be charged at the applicable rate per guest.

 

Additional guest charges must be paid on the day of the event or via invoice issued after the party.

 

We reserve the right to refuse entry where capacity or safety limits would be exceeded.

 

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

 

Deposits are non-refundable.

 

For standard parties, cancellations made within 14 days of the event are not entitled to a refund of the remaining balance.

 

For sleepover parties, cancellations made within 60 days of the event are not entitled to a refund of the remaining balance.

 

Bookings may be rescheduled with at least 7 working days’ notice, subject to availability.

 

If we cancel your booking, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date.

 

6. Late Arrival

 

Customers must arrive on time.

 

Late arrival will reduce the allocated party time.

 

Arrival more than 30 minutes late may result in the party continuing with reduced time or being cancelled without refund.

 

7. Supervision and Use of Facilities

 

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

 

This applies to all areas including soft play, party rooms, photo booths, VIP rooms and rides.

 

We are not responsible for injuries resulting from lack of supervision or misuse of equipment.

 

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

 

8. Behaviour and Safety

 

We reserve the right to end or cancel a party without refund if guests behave in a dangerous or disruptive manner, staff are subjected to abuse, or venue rules are not followed.

 

9. Damage to Property

 

The customer is responsible for the behaviour of all guests attending their booking.

 

Any damage caused to Studio Megastar property, equipment, fixtures, fittings or décor by the customer or their guests must be paid for in full.

 

We reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement, retain payments already made, or issue an invoice for additional costs.

 

Payment for damages must be made within 7 days of notification.

 

10. Cleaning and Excessive Mess

 

Customers are expected to leave the venue in a reasonable condition.

 

Standard cleaning is included. However, additional charges may apply where excessive mess has occurred, including excessive food or drink spillage, ground-in food, cake or substances, use of prohibited materials such as confetti, glitter or party poppers, or any mess requiring extended or specialist cleaning.

 

Additional cleaning costs may be deducted from payments or invoiced separately.

 

We reserve the right to refuse future bookings where excessive mess or damage has occurred.

 

11. Food, Allergies and External Catering

 

Customers must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking.

 

While we take care in food preparation, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

 

No external food or drink is permitted unless agreed in advance.

 

Celebration cakes are permitted but must be nut-free unless otherwise agreed.

 

12. Personal Property

 

We are not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen or damaged on the premises.

 

13. Photography and Media

 

We may take photographs or videos during sessions.

 

Images will only be used for marketing purposes with prior consent from a parent or guardian.

 

Participation implies consent for internal or service-related use only.

 

14. Media Products

 

If any media product, including discs or digital files, is faulty, missing or incorrect, we will replace or correct it at no additional cost.

 

15. Equipment and Attractions

 

In the event that any equipment or attraction becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative.

 

This does not constitute grounds for a refund.

 

16. Government Restrictions / Force Majeure

 

If events cannot proceed due to government restrictions or circumstances beyond our control, bookings will be rescheduled and payments will be transferred to a new date within 12 months.

 

17. Party Packages

 

We reserve the right to make changes to our packages.

 

Confirmed bookings will not be affected by any changes made after booking.

 

18. Website Use

 

Website content is for general information only and may change without notice.

 

Use of the website is at your own risk.

 

All content is owned or licensed by Studio Megastar and may not be reproduced without permission.

 

19. Cookies

 

Our website uses cookies to improve user experience.

 

You may disable cookies via your browser settings.

 

20. Privacy

 

We comply with UK data protection laws.

 

We do not store payment card details.

 

You may request access to your personal data free of charge.

 

Data is used only for service delivery and agreed communications.

 

21. Third Party Links

 

We are not responsible for the content or policies of third-party websites linked from our site.

 

22. Limitation of Liability

 

We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

 

23. Governing Law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
